There should always be a “day one plan” that includes handbook review, tax information, etc, introductions, a tour of the facility and an overview of the business.

Why is an end of the first week review important?

An end of the first week review between the new associate and their supervisor will help get the new associate the assistance they need to grow in their role and continue to be successful.  This is the supervisor’s chance to go over the Performance Agreement and make sure their associate understands the job and has their questions answered.
